This Privacy Policy explains how Bellweather Data LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company, collects, uses, stores, and discloses information in connection with CodeCaseIQ.

CodeCaseIQ is a brand and service operated by Bellweather Data LLC.

This Privacy Policy applies to CodeCaseIQ.com, CodeCaseIQ accounts, our software, communications with us, and related services.

1. Contact Information

Privacy and property-record correction requests may be submitted to that email address.

2. Information CodeCaseIQ Provides

CodeCaseIQ is designed as a property-level municipal code-enforcement research platform, not a people-search service.

Our standard violation dataset may contain:

Our standard violation database does not include or attach individual names, personal telephone numbers, personal email addresses, or owner mailing addresses to violation records.

The Service is designed to provide information about properties and municipal enforcement activity rather than profiles of individual people.

3. Information You Give Us

When you create or maintain a CodeCaseIQ account, we may collect information you provide, including:

You cannot currently upload files to CodeCaseIQ.

4. Saved and Flagged Properties

CodeCaseIQ allows users to save or flag properties.

We therefore may maintain information concerning:

This information is used to provide the functionality you requested.

We do not currently sell your saved or flagged property activity to other CodeCaseIQ customers.

5. Search, Website, and Service Activity

To operate, understand, improve, and secure the Service, we may process information relating to how you or your account interact with CodeCaseIQ, including:

This information may be collected directly by CodeCaseIQ or through analytics providers such as Google Analytics and PostHog.

We may use this information to operate the Service, understand product usage, measure website and feature performance, improve user experience, troubleshoot technical problems, protect accounts, detect scraping or account sharing, enforce subscription restrictions, and improve reliability.

6. Automatically Collected Technical Information

When you use CodeCaseIQ, our systems and analytics providers may automatically receive technical information such as:

We use this information for analytics, authentication, security, functionality, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, abuse detection, performance measurement, and improvement of the Service.

Some providers may process an IP address or similar network information when receiving a request even if they do not retain that information in the same form. The precise information collected may depend on our configuration, your browser or device, and your privacy or consent settings.

7. Google Analytics and PostHog

CodeCaseIQ currently uses Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how visitors and customers use our website and Service.

Google Analytics may collect or derive information such as page and session activity, number of users, session statistics, approximate geographic information, browser and device information, and pseudonymous identifiers. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar technologies to distinguish users and sessions, depending on our configuration and your consent settings.

PostHog is used for product and usage analytics. Depending on our configuration, PostHog may process events and interaction information such as pages or features used, clicks or other product interactions, session-related information, device or browser information, pseudonymous identifiers, and similar usage data.

We use these analytics services to:

We do not currently use Google Analytics or PostHog for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not currently sell customer account activity for money.

We do not intend to send Social Security numbers, full payment-card information, passwords, or other highly sensitive information to our analytics providers.

Where applicable law requires consent or an opt-out for non-essential analytics technologies, we will provide the required choice or control.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

CodeCaseIQ and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, session tokens, client identifiers, and similar technologies.

Some of these technologies are necessary to keep you logged in, authenticate your account, protect account security, remember essential preferences, process checkout, prevent fraud, and operate the Service.

We also use analytics technologies associated with Google Analytics and PostHog to measure website and product usage and improve the Service. These technologies may store or access pseudonymous identifiers or other analytics information on your browser or device, depending on our configuration and your consent settings.

Blocking essential technologies may prevent portions of CodeCaseIQ from working. Blocking or declining non-essential analytics technologies may reduce the analytics information available to us but should not prevent access to core Service functionality, except where a particular feature technically depends on that technology.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate consent choices for non-essential analytics cookies or similar technologies.

Third-party services such as Stripe, Google Analytics, and PostHog may use their own technologies when you interact with services they provide to or through CodeCaseIQ.

9. Payment Information

CodeCaseIQ currently uses Stripe to process subscription payments.

Payment-card or bank information may be entered directly into Stripe's systems.

Bellweather Data LLC generally does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

We may receive information from Stripe such as:

Stripe processes information under its own privacy practices.

10. Property and Municipal Record Information

CodeCaseIQ collects property-level information from municipal agencies, government databases, public-record systems, open-data portals, government websites, licensed data sources, and other lawful sources.

We may normalize the information, standardize descriptions, categorize violations, map properties, match records, remove duplicates, create classifications, create scores, track historical changes, add source metadata, and combine compatible property-level datasets.

The standard CodeCaseIQ violation dataset is structured to avoid attaching individual names or personal contact information to violation records.

11. How We Use Account Information

We may use customer information to create accounts, authenticate users, process subscriptions, provide city access, provide saved/flagged property functionality, process payments, provide support, send account notices, send requested alerts, investigate errors, secure the Service, detect fraud, detect account sharing, detect scraping, enforce our Terms, maintain accounting records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and improve Service functionality and reliability.

12. Service Providers

We may provide information to or allow information to be processed by companies that perform services for Bellweather Data LLC.

Current providers may include services from:

Google Analytics and PostHog may receive technical and usage information described in Sections 5 through 8 when their analytics technologies are active.

We may use other vendors necessary to operate, analyze, secure, maintain, or support CodeCaseIQ.

Service providers receive or process information only as reasonably necessary for the services they provide to us, subject to applicable legal or contractual restrictions and the configuration choices available to us.

13. We Do Not Sell Customer Account Information

Bellweather Data LLC does not currently sell CodeCaseIQ customer account information for money.

We do not sell:

We do not currently disclose customer account information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do disclose or permit processing of certain technical and usage information by service providers such as Google Analytics and PostHog for analytics, performance measurement, product improvement, security, and related operational purposes as described in this Privacy Policy.

Some privacy laws use definitions of "sale," "sharing," "targeted advertising," or similar terms that are broader than an ordinary sale for money. If our use of analytics technologies is treated as a regulated disclosure under an applicable law, we will provide any notice, consent mechanism, or opt-out right required by that law.

If our practices materially change, we will update this Policy and provide legally required rights or notices.

14. Property Data Is Different From Account Data

CodeCaseIQ's underlying property information comes primarily from public, government, licensed, or other lawful property-level sources.

Property information displayed to subscribers is separate from information collected from you when you create a CodeCaseIQ account.

Our customers' private account activity—including which properties they save or flag—is not itself made available as part of the property dataset.

15. Email Communications

We may send you transactional communications necessary to operate your account, including account confirmation, security alerts, password resets, receipts, invoices, payment failures, subscription changes, cancellation confirmation, requested property alerts, service announcements, and legal notices.

We may also send promotional email where permitted.

Promotional messages will contain an appropriate method to unsubscribe.

Unsubscribing from marketing email does not prevent us from sending essential account, security, legal, or billing communications.

We will not treat consent to promotional email as a requirement for purchasing a CodeCaseIQ subscription where prohibited by law.

16. No Marketing Text Messages Without Separate Consent

If CodeCaseIQ later offers promotional SMS or text-message marketing, we will obtain any consent required by applicable law before sending such messages.

Creating a CodeCaseIQ account does not by itself constitute consent to receive promotional marketing text messages.

17. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards that we believe are reasonable in light of the nature of the Service.

Measures may include access controls, authentication, cloud security, encryption where appropriate, logging, monitoring, rate limits, account-security controls, and access restrictions.

No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your CodeCaseIQ credentials.

Please notify info@codecaseiq.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

18. Data Retention

We retain information only for periods reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including operation of the Service and legitimate legal, security, accounting, and business requirements.

For example:

Property and public-record information may be retained for historical, source-verification, research, and product purposes where lawful.

19. Cancellation and Account Information

Canceling your subscription stops future subscription renewals but does not necessarily cause immediate deletion of all account records.

We may retain limited information after cancellation when reasonably necessary for accounting, tax compliance, fraud prevention, chargeback handling, legal claims, security, and recordkeeping.

You may contact us concerning deletion of eligible account information.

20. Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, applicable law, Bellweather Data LLC's status under that law, and the type of information involved, you may have certain privacy rights.

These may include rights to request access, request confirmation of processing, request correction, request deletion, obtain certain information in portable format, learn about certain disclosures, opt out of certain legally defined sales or sharing, appeal certain privacy-request decisions, and exercise privacy rights without unlawful discrimination.

Not every privacy law applies to Bellweather Data LLC or every category of information.

Certain information may be exempt from privacy requests, including information required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, contractual obligations, or information subject to another statutory exception.

21. Submitting a Privacy Request

Privacy requests may be sent to info@codecaseiq.com with the subject “Privacy Request.”

Please provide enough information for us to understand and reasonably verify the request.

We may request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify identity and prevent unauthorized access to account information.

22. Authorized Agents

Where applicable law allows an authorized agent to submit a privacy request for you, we may request reasonable documentation confirming the agent's authority.

We may also verify your identity directly where legally permitted.

23. Privacy Appeals

If applicable law provides a right to appeal our decision regarding a privacy request, send the appeal to info@codecaseiq.com with the subject “Privacy Request Appeal.”

Explain the original request and why you believe our response should be reconsidered.

24. Non-Discrimination

Where applicable privacy law provides rights, CodeCaseIQ will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising those rights.

25. Property-Record Corrections

Because CodeCaseIQ maintains property-level public-record information, we provide a separate process for reporting inaccurate property records.

Send requests to info@codecaseiq.com with the subject “Property Record Correction.”

Please include:

We may review the original government source before making a change.

We may correct, update, annotate, or suppress information as appropriate.

A request does not necessarily require CodeCaseIQ to delete accurate historical public information that we are legally permitted to maintain.

26. Sensitive Information

CodeCaseIQ does not intentionally seek to include highly sensitive personal information in its standard property-violation database.

If source data inadvertently contains information such as Social Security numbers, full financial-account numbers, passwords, full payment-card information, private medical information, or other highly sensitive personal identifiers, we may remove or suppress that information where appropriate.

Potential sensitive-data issues may be reported to info@codecaseiq.com.

27. Children

CodeCaseIQ is intended for persons who are at least 18 years old.

We do not knowingly permit minors under 18 to create accounts.

If you believe a minor has created an account or provided information to us, contact info@codecaseiq.com.

28. Legal Requests

We may preserve or disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful process, respond to a subpoena or court order, enforce our legal rights, investigate fraud, investigate security incidents, prevent unlawful activity, or protect users or our systems.

Where appropriate and lawful, we may challenge requests we believe are invalid or overly broad.

29. Business Transactions

If Bellweather Data LLC participates in a merger, acquisition, financing, corporate restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

30. United States Service

CodeCaseIQ is currently focused on U.S. property information and customers.

We do not currently market the Service specifically to residents of foreign jurisdictions.

If foreign privacy law applies to particular processing, we will comply with applicable obligations to the extent required.

31. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as CodeCaseIQ changes.

The “Last Updated” date identifies the current version.

If we make a material change to our privacy practices, we will provide notice where required by applicable law.
